There are only three places cables enter the battery enclosure. One there in the front, one at the back down by the motor, and a gasketed cable groove for the tail light and gear sensor cables.

All connections inside the battery enclosure are waterproof / corrosion proof using dielectric grease, silicone sealer, and liquid electrical tape.

The side panels have gaskets. All screws have been sealed with silicone sealer.
