Oh, and handedness doesn't indicate dominant leg. One suggested way of finding your dominant leg is to put your feet together and have someone give you a push forward (without you knowing the exact timing) - the leg that you stick out to keep yourself from hitting the deck is your dominant leg.
Interesting stuff and yes, I do stick my left leg out or put it down first when stopped.
