I have a Powertap hub, and it works. It doesn't give me cadence, so I need to run an external sensor.
I have a Quarq, and it's crank based, and it works. It gives me cadence, and it also gives me right/left power, which I now give two ****s about.
I have some new Assioma Duo pedals, that work. The give me cadence, and some weird thing that tells me where my power is as I go round and round. I really don't give two for that either.
As long as you have the same BB, swapping a Sram Red crank is a walk in the park. Swapping pedals is also easy. So is swapping a wheel. I'm lazy, so swapping nothing is easiest.
I run Look cleats, so it does make it even easier.
right on thanks for the input. And i’ll take a look at the link datlus. I think groupset will be a go, plus new cables bar tape and that stem. If I do it right I can get everything for around 500 before shipping. I’ll look at new wheels around christmas time. Checked today I have put 1030 on the Caad since I purchased it.
Power meter will be way later down the road.
