Please tell us your age.

56 Almost 57

1. What type of bikes do 50+ folks ride
A 5 Year old Eddy Merckx Titanium with Dura Ace and a Time Fork

2. Do you take any special supplements/vitamins/minerals as you have grown older?

New Chapter Every Man 2
MSM Joint Formula
Saw Palmetto

3. How much do you feel you have "slowed down" if any?

20%

4. How long have you been biking? New, around a while, biked all your life?

All My Life. More Serious since 1983

5. What type of biking do you do? Long rides, touring, short rec rides, commute, tour, race?

I live in Atlanta and Don't feel as comfortable on the road as I once did. Atlanta is not a Bicycle friendly town.

I Average about 75 to 80 Miles a week on the road on a no motorized traffic trail.

I supplement that with a Spinning Class 3 Times a week.

I highly recommend Spinning if you can find a good instructor. It helps keep your conditioning up.

6. How often do you bike? Your approximate annual mileage?

75 miles a week on average and 3 days of Spinning.

7. Do you do any other type of physical activities - weight lifting, skiing, running, etc.?

Weight Training 4 Days a week, Some running. I have tailed off in the running because of some ligament pain in the ankle and Increased the spinning. I have lost 35 Pounds and I am now under 190lbs, for the first time in years.
Every time I spin I burn at least 1000+ Calories and when I bike outside its about 2200 Calories.
I have lowered my Cholestoral and Blood Pressure and I feel great.

Strongly recommend HR Monitor so you can maximize your workouts.
