I've told this story here before but I'll tell again: Last summer I'm doing a metric century with my then 12 year old son. That was his longest ride to date and we were around mile 40 going uphill. It was very hot and I could see that my son was struggling. A guy on a Cervelo passed us uphill like we were standing still. My son looked at me with that " Holy cr*p!" look. I turned to him and said " He's got a better bike" . We both laughed out loud and Up to this day we say the same thing every time we get passed by somebody else. And we both still HATE THAT GUY on the Cervelo!
