They aren't made for cycling. But they are clear and usually come in sizes specifically made to fit over eye glasses.

In the USA they are at every Home Depot. Not sure how readily available such a thing would be in Caracus.

I will second this post. I suffered a scratched cornea on my tour in June, and was unable to wear my contacts. I was wearing eye protection when the scratch occurred, but, you cannot prevent everything. I wore my glasses for the rest of the tour, and wore safety glasses, like the ones Skipjacks posted, over my prescription glasses. They worked very well.
