A great way to keep folks from coming to Eugene. All negatives. Ride a north loop and put in 100 miles with less than 500' of climbing. Ride east, west, south and add plenty of beautiful hill rides. Hundreds of miles of gravel roads nearby. Plenty of SoCal newbies driving on the city streets and brought their bad habits with them. If you are from a large city (LA, San Diego, NYC) you will find riding in Eugene/Springfield to be a pleasure. And you can get completely out of town withing a 5-10 mile range. So come on and bring your bike and a happy attitude.
