I think I would buy into a renewed issue of the 1984 models. SR for me always included some black paint on it, and if not it was just NR. I just got an 88 team model that was a mish-mash of parts but they all worked well together. Campy BB and cranks, rear deraileur, Durace hubs and brake levers, Modolo calipers, and 105 front deraileur. I always liked (and still do) the way the Campy stuff fit nicely on the frame and was for some reason always the lightest and most durable for the time. I still have it on seven of my race bikes from the 80's. So yes I would buy one, but heck, I also bought a 50th grupo back then, and then sold it to my room-mate who would pull it out every night and drool over it. Smiles, MH
