I used to obsess about imperfections. Over time I have changed my attitude, but that’s just me. As long as it’s structural sound it’s just a battle scar, showing it has had a life.
I would create a new post here on the BF C&V forum with detailed pictures of the lugs, head badge area, drop-outs, seat post size, etc, as well as list of components. And serial numbers of course. Provide as much as possible information you have about it’s history.
