Yup, I race road and track, so these sort of rides are pretty standard. :-) I wouldn't ordinarily climb 2K feet on a fixed gear in that gearing, but it serves a purpose....low cadence, moderately high power efforts over long periods of time are excellent strength building training. It was either that or do squats in the gym for an hour! That is boring as ****.
