I couldn't help but peek into the "1000w ebike" topic. At that point you've pretty much got a bicycle combined with an electric "liquor cycle". You know, a DUI scooter. I feel like folks geek out on the cool electronics and it's an "end around" the law for using motorized stuff on greenways, but still to have enough "ooomph" to get out on a real road at appreciable speed.
