Yours are en route, this was one I just received. I have come across this pitting/staining before, but this is turning out to be too deep to polish out. I thought it might be from steel wool, but no, not coming out with evaporust.
I removed part of the anodized layer, but found that these pits go too deep for flat re-surfacing. Not sure what to try next. Maybe riding them as they are, lol. I don't like acknowledging defeat.
