You got a great deal. It's got the painted headbadge. It's got the old time Tange Champion tubing sticker. Suntour bits. An absolutely lovely bike. Not much wear. You're probably right about the vintage being around 1985. Personally, I would convert that to an upright cruiser with new handlebars, stem, grips, brake levers, thumb shifters, rear rack, tires, etc. Spend about $150 - $200 in parts and have a really nice city bike. If you just want to flip it you could probably get close to $75 as -is. It's not one of the top Centurion models but that is one tough durable bike that will last a lifetime.
