Hit a rest week just as work got nasty. We are revamping an elementary school (our niche) and the massive kitchen needed the concrete slab sawcut to shreds. Unfortunately, the instability of the cut slab meant no excavators could work safely within the structure soooo it needed to be excavated by hand. We had nobody else available to do the work, so I volunteered to make some fat prevailing wage booty and work up a sweat. Ended up hand shoveling 4 dump truck loads of rock out of a building via wheelbarrow. Not much of a recovery week, methinks.
