On my ride this Tuesday, I drafted a very smoothly-ridden electric bike up 27mph, when I had the thought that e-bikes would make good dernys, with their smooth acceleration and pedals to give the pacer a feel for things. Some of them even look funny like dernys, with undersize wheels, fat hubs, weird rider position, and loafy super short cranks with wide Q-factor. Maybe Kmart sells this sort of awkward e-bike? An entire Kmart keirin team will be next!
