You're probably automatically opted in, and you have to opt out to not receive. I got the same ad this morning but I don't really mind, as I'm not a paid
no ad subscriber to BF. I probably would be if I was given the option to make the choice to pay or not annually, but the automatic renewal charge makes me not want to go that route and the side-bar ads are not really an issue -- I've actually bought some things off of a side bar ad, so that's my way of reimbursing BF.
