Close, they are open 4 cd rims. They are sort of the precursor to the open pro. These are a very fine example with very little wear.

The bike had sort of an odd build:
Early record hubs
7spd Sachs fw
Chorus 8rd
Record 8 ergos
Rx100 fd
Shimano bb
Athena cranks (I believe)
It all worked well together but I think the new stuff will suit it better.

Truth.

Wrenching on bikes is a great escape and my only real winter hobby. I love throwing on some good music and working on a nice bike while drinking coffee. I only wish there was enough of a market around here to make it a viable second job. I don't want to get caught up tuning department store bikes, I just want to express some creativity on new or vintage road builds. It's actually gotten to the point where I have mentally gone through all the possible build options with my current frames and components.
