Caffeine is not a banned substance and is allowed in and out of competition. It used to have a limit. You can also check, which I did, WADA 2020 list and search caffeine. Thanks. I see that they stopped the ban entirely in 2004. Surprisingly to me, they also stopped the ban on
pseudoephedrine. High urine levels of caffeine are still banned by the NCAA.
