Look at IZip, Raleigh and Haro for cruisers. I have 10 Zuma's I use as rental bikes. they are perfect for an easy to ride ebike that fits most people. If you want something REALLY nice, check out the IZip Zuma Luxe.
Sorry I have no recommendations for the budget Chinese brands.
