Temperature only 28degF when I started, about 40degF when I returned home. Saw at least one hawk, probably a red tail, one red-bellied woodpecker, more than a few dozen snowflakes, few other cyclists.
Over in the 50+ they have this thing they call a birthday ride. I turned 71 on Friday. I don't usually have enough hours of daylight to do 71 miles so I settled for 73km.
The usual haunts were deserted.
