Uhhhm ... isn't that what I just said?
The thickest pad in that photo (I just measured) is 1.1mm. Shimano recommends replacing at 0.9mm. I suspect that they are a bit conservative, but it isn't like I am tossing out unworn pads (which are about 1.8 mm to 2.0 mm).
