Seems like a lot, but I've had it for nearly 25 years, and rode a LOT many of those years. replaced teh back wheel (new hub), drivetrain, bottom bracket, and front wheel bearings, but other than that the replacements have been standard expendables (tires/tubes, brake pads/cables/chains) or for comfort (seat, handgrips). A heavy chunk of shaped chrome/moly really doesn't wear out.
