I think a gravel bike is basically an endurance frame road bike with off-road tires.
This is where it started, but it has become so much more. Heavy duty road bike has since become a light duty MTB and blurred every line in between.
Call it whatever you like, but somewhere between the paved roads and hard core MTB trails lies the true meaning of gravel.
