What road is that? My family roots are up that way from Ft. Payne, to Hammondville, Valley Head, Mentone over to Summerville and up to Chattanooga. I have a cousin who is the mayor of Rossville Ga.
That's a beautiful area. It is indeed near Ft. Panye - Little River Canyon Parkway along the western side of the canyon.
The original plan was to ride Cherokee County 275 north from the south entrance but wow, my turbo Subaru had trouble with that road. I wound up starting at DeSoto State Park and doing a loop. Very memorable ride.
