Think of it as the beginning of July in Wisconsin all over again. That means you've got two more months of summer, followed by 5 months of Wisconsin fall (aka NC winter), and then it'll be early spring again! By May you'll be ready for a REAL summer.
Yep...that's pretty much how I'm thinking of it. Bonus summer, though with a bit less daylight!
