Alarm cat got into our room at 4:30AM. We usually close the door tight so she can't do that, but that hard lemonade must have gone to my wife's head, as she did not close door tight enough to click it, and of course Jackie came in and wanted some love from me. It was a bit early but I can't be angry with such a lovely creature.
We've been keeping the cats locked out for the last week but finally left the door open last night. We've found that if we limit access to the room throughout the week it seems to disable the alarm feature, but if they have unfettered access for a few days it gets reset to around 5AM.

Funny - my poor old boy would howl and scratch at any fully-latched door, but with the bedroom door open he would just come and curl up at our feet or in between us if he was cold. Never woke me up.
