Nothing wrong with a nice big gear to spin at leisure up a grade though. Did that over a bridge recently during a Bike to Work Day celebration ride with a Nexus 8, and I must say I was
just a bit smug at the idea of chortling up the hill slowly but easily. Everyone else seemed to be in a big hurry to sweat it up in a much taller gear.
