I'm asthmatic, which has been getting worst over the last 15 years, and i was a smoker for years. The result has been a loss of lung capacity which mostly effects performance on the bike. At 80 years old, I don't focus overly much on what I can no longer do. My motto these days is to do as much as I can as long as I can and to be satisfied with that.
