Still use the red Look Carbon Pro from 1986. Must have about 50k on them and never serviced. Spring plates are very worn, but they still work flawlessly. Also have a set of the EVac pedals from 1987? On the commuter. They served as off road pedals for a few years, too. Look Delta pedals must be the most durable pedals out there. Yes, the squeak when the cleat interface is dirty. I also lube them with wax before each ride to cut down on the squeaking. All these years and miles later prove to me that the extra spent then was the right thing to do.
