There's an easy fix to that rattle - just turn the radio up.
That said, we recently bought my wife a CRV. It pains me to say this, but I really like it. It drives well and has plenty of room. Granted, I prefer my BMW, but if I had to buy a new car tomorrow, I might consider a CRV.
