A quick search here indicates some folks have this condition and continue to cycle. I am wondering if I should start wearing padded gloves since I do have some pain during and after riding. I generally do not wear gloves because for me they have caused more problems than providing any benefit.

For those of you who cycle with this condition, any advice you can offer about riding and living with this condition?

Thanks.....
I thought it was a trigger finger. have had this prob for a number of yrs. After multiple shots of cortisone .first in my right hand for pinky contracture aprox 10 yrs ago. Golf related. that one is ok now . Now at 69 my left has freaked out. .Been off my bike for a mont. No shots because of frequentness .dont work after a while. So stiffness and pain is on tap early mornings. I take Ibuprofen ,My reumathologist referred me to occupational therapy. .Hot presses ,a splint to sleep at night and ultrasound therapy. NOT FUN. Some get relive from xiaflex shots , surgery or radiation . If you go to FB you can search and find a cpl of support groups. If it makes you feel better many prominent ppl had it or have it. Dupuytren was Napoleon's physician
