Went with a friend to hang out at the finish of yesterday's ATOC stage in Ventura. The wind was very strong with whitecaps on the ocean. The men had tailwind on most of their route until the end so they came in way ahead of predicted times and almost caught some of the women, who did an out and back route facing headwinds on the way out.
Women's winner looked like a machine as she flew by with an 18 second gap over a chase group but the men's winner wasn't decided until the last few seconds.
Both fields were blown to pieces. Trying to decide if I want to drive in traffic and then ride up Mount Baldy to watch today.
