Fausto Coppi Reparto Corse

I picked this up today. I'm not sure what I'm going to do with it yet. It's quite a canvas to work with. It's obviously got a modern vibe, which plays into my tastes. It may feel modern enough to go Shimano. I think either black or silver components could work.





















Using Coppi's name for branding like this seems a bit hokey. I think this bike was built in 1997. On the other hand, it was the bike Team Polti raced on so it has some pedigree. Plus, it's just a nice frame. I found it looking for the later Columbus tubing blends on eBay.

What do you think? Any build suggestions?
