I recall the preface of the website when it first launched stating something to the effect that the website being a place to keep notes and whatnot for an upcoming Track Sprinting book.

did think it was weird to give away the "milk" then try to sell the "cow" later, but I didn't question it. I really enjoyed the content.
I hope it's a temporary thing, like the credit card used to pay the domain fees expired and wasn't updated
(this happens more often than you think)
