I have a similar experience, except mine was 11th grade AP English -> normal Enlgish. The friend and I are still close with each other and our families, although we'll see each other a few times a year max. He attended the same Univ. as me too.

@MuffinMan the only thing that is overtly wrong about that bike is the frame/fork combo - it would work great with a CX fork (obv).
