Yeah, I discussed the issue with my LBS mechanic. He was encouraging but in more of a “try it out and see what happens” kind of way.
I realize that pushing this post to the limit is a bit extreme but if anything, it has made the ride more compliant. This bike is plenty stiff but manages to have a
soft non-jarring ride.
