It would appear that the basic hybrid flat bar bike is what's best for me right now. I suppose it's almost a superficial difference between a Trek, a Sirrus, and many other hybrids, but don't we always preach that one should get the bike that feels best? My Globe is a nice bike - but it feels heavy and non-responsive. Kind of like an old Valiant station wagon. Okay, not that bad, but it feels almost like a chore to ride it. These flat bar hybrids are feeling responsive and fun. It's a matter of fine-tuning what I like and how they feel. If that's crazy, well, being crazy is nothing new for me!
