Ditto. I've started carrying a few links of chain as well just in case something goes
really wrong and a few links get twisted.
Probably most necessary on my track bike since my chain length is fixed. One additional link and the axle is off the back of the track ends, one less and the tire fouls the chainstays. The chances of a chain failure are pretty low, but you never know...
Oh, and I did end up picking up a Crank Brothers M20. It was a nice little surprise to see a dedicated spot for a quick link inside the compartment with the bacon strips
