speaking of... the ones I have are a bear in cross winds, newer U-shaped wheels do much better.

Anyway, wider widths? What width are your new reynolds and how wide are the tires? I have 28mm tires on my current rims and I don't think I'd feel comfortable with even one more mm. (they mike out at 28mm). My old 25mm tires miked out at 28mm on those reynolds too.
