Same here. I hitched a ride to the start once a couple of years ago, but it was an early start 20+ miles away.
This might change somewhat, as I need to get a large vehicle this summer to support a temporary cross-country move. There's a nice looking fast group ride that I'd like to try, but RT to and from would add ~50 miles.
