That '91 SR frameset is a good riding frame and fork, despite what the naysayers will tell you. I had one in the SR300 level componentry level, great Tuesday night crit. weapon.

If you do open up those RSX brifters, be careful with the springs, pulling the domed cover cap off releases the spring and its the devil being played to get it back into place correctly. I had good luck just drenching the entire assembly through the levers and into the body and allowing it to sit and drain a while, then freeing up the mechanism on those RSX models. I enjoyed having them on my old 1997 R500T 'Dale, a few years back. There was a guy doing rebuilds on the RSX componentry that listed on eBay a few years ago, haven't seen him there in a while, as these are getting on in years. Still, when working they are good, daily use components.
