I didn't get out this weekend, but the city was posting notices that all campers would be removed soon to allow for some renovation work that will supposedly include new fencing that will discourage the return of the tents. The downside, due to a lawsuit last time the city cleared the riverbed area they will now have to pack up all the personal belongings and transport them to a storage facility where they will be held for 90 days before being discarded. Sounds expensive...
