My understanding is that Scattante was made for Performance by Fuji, but I’m not sure about 2004.

It is supposed to be full Ultegra.

The issues you might have are the modifications made to the bike to set it up for triathlons/TT’s that you really don’t want for a road bike, especially a first bike. The seller may see them as upgrades, but a super aero setup may just mean more cost for you to convert back.

In other words, you probably don’t want aero wheels, bars, no set-back seat post and maybe taller gearing just starting out.
