I was wondering if you had ridden modern mountain bikes before. I had hardtails, then a K2 which broke in half after 10 years, then a cheap KHS aluminum 100mm bike which I rode for 10 more years. I mostly ride road but in 2018 I bought a KHS 6600, a 160/150 enduro style bike with 27.5x2.8 tires. It's the only bike I've ridden from the last decade.
I like it a lot but I had no idea what to get. My friend is a KHS dealer so that helped sway me.
