In an address yesterday, our Gov said they were buying time with our lockdown so that temp facilities could set up in stadiums, etc. Fortunately, MN has Medtronic, 3M and Honeywell, among others, accounting for a good chunk of the worldwide production of ventilators and most of the N95 masks. So yeah, **** getting real.
And then, at the uh, national level, there are hopes/expectations/orders? to go back to business as usual in two weeks. Smart.
