I once read some advice about shifting in my saddle, shifting my shorts & occasionally getting out of the saddle while riding to help prevent soreness & other issues from hair follicles. so far, this advice has helped a lot. I also do some man-scaping down there with a hair trimmer. I don't "shave" I reduce the length of the hairs. that seems to help too. plus it provides other, unrelated features & benefits ... good luck with your ride!
