Don't forget about nutrition! I try to eat 'correctly', whatever that is... not too much junk, lots of fresh fruit and vegetables and all of that but I also use supplements. I am not sponsored by them in any capacity and I have no financial interest but I like Hammer Nutrition's offerings. I can really tell the difference. If anything... get something like their 'Perpetuem' and/or 'Heed' and then 'Recoverite' for after the ride.
