pastorbobnlnh You can see I didn't end up using the Hi-E hubs or the Sachs freewheel you sent me. 8 speed was too much for this frame, so I got some Record hub/Wolber rim used wheels and put a 5 speed Suntour freewheel on. I already have another project in mind for that freewheel you sent me.
I see now I need to add a couple links to the chain.
For those wondering, those are Stronglight TS BIS chainrings made for a Stronglight Touring Sport crank. They are 116bcd like the TA Pro crankset and I found a few that allowed me to lower the gearing a bit. Those are 50/40 right now. Just needed to drill out the smaller chainring's mounting holes to accept the TA chainring bolts.
The tires are 38mm Soma Supple Vitesse (Panaracer). On the skinny Wolber rims they only go out to about 34mm. Which is good, because I wouldn't feel comfortable going over 35mm in the rear on this frame in 700c.
