No way, I remember the wins in crits/road. Track, different story. But also, epic situations are memorable. The solo efforts in no man's land for 4th place, or the 60 mile breaks getting caught in the last kilometer. Or even getting dropped on a hill and TTing all day to pass stragglers. Crits are fun, but rarely epic.
Don't get me wrong ... I remember the wins and that's what I drive for, but just missing out on the win is what pushes me more at the end of an interval and leaves enough of a bitter taste that I feel obligated to train harder.
