This is next to the Des Moines river just south of saylorville dam. The output level over the last 20 months caused sustained flooding in what used to be areas that were usable for 45 of the 52 weeks. A major paved trail in the heart of the city has been under water for a year and a half- its crushing to car alternative infrastructure and recreational activities(walking, running, cycling, dog walks, etc).
The single track used to split off and run along the river- that entire track washed away and the inner forest track is what I used...and that isn't much better.
Hopey with the new river output approach, this will revert back to how it was in prior years.
I would guess that based on location, you are even more affected by river flooding.
